| Discuss, laugh, mock, anything prometheus related.
For those who don't know Prometheus is where evil tall white skinheads kill their smaller white clonez0rz when they wake up. Also, Ridley Scott presents: More penis monsters

| I know, I just have this fit of calling out every time I see the word used meaninglessly. I get that it's a deep meaning and all, but y'know, it's everywhere. | |

| Dunno why I forgot to mention that the trailer aired here used TSFH - Moving Mountains...
Coincidentally famed for being overused as a trailer track, not unlike Requiem for a Dream. At least he had the decency to promote a cliche title with a cliche music score. : D

| I'm not insulting you in any way. I'm just saying I honestly don't see how it's that cliche of a name. | |

| My attention is diverted.
Ma'ams?
In any case, I don't see how it's cliche either. Prometheus is a demigod, one of the Titans, who was worshiped by craftsmen. It would make sense they named the ship that, as they would likely hold great pride in their ship, and that at the time, would be the pinnacle of space transportation.

| I take cliche to be overused, and I have seen a ship named 'Prometheus' in EVERY sci-fi show I've watched.
Look, I'm sorry I've been a real karma whore, Sporum taint seems to be very sticky and resilient. I guess I just need time away from it entirely, so it can wear off and stuff. This thread just brought back bad memories from there. Again, sorry for my crap attitude lately.

| It's all cool.
And that would explain it. I don't really watch too many sci-fi things so it didn't seem that popular to me.
