With the (hopefully) coming revival of the forum, there are bound to be some changes. I have already made a few, none of which are so drastic. But this one is a little more impacting so I'm going to take it up with everyone.

It's been suggested that the background or theme be changed to give the forum some new life. I want to be clear what the difference is.


  • Themes refer to the ENTIRE appearance of the forum. Buttons, color, design and all.
  • Backgrounds refer to actual background of the forum (our background can be seen on the sides).


I'll put a poll up so it'll be easier to record your decisions.

For reference, an entire theme can be chosen but it might be tricky to find one we all like. Post suggestions on what you'd like the theme to be if that's your preference. If I can't find it, we can work out a way to merge different features from different themes into one, but that will take a little longer and the forum might look a little funky for a little while before it's done.

I'm all for a plain background, but a new theme would be nice I think! Can we keep the colors dark, though? I always loved how easy this site was on the eyes. -u-

I like the idea of a complete rework, but I'd keep the darker colors as a general color scheme. Otherwise, I'm not sure what the theme should really be.
